Baby massage is a routine part of many cultures around the world and has many benefits for both parent and child. Introducing massage into you and your child’s life can have such a positive impact on both your well being and it is something that you can continue throughout their childhood.

Massage helps to enhance the bond and loving communication between parent and child and is relaxing for both. It can help to develop a sound personality and inner strength for the child. A parent can have more control and become more aware of their child’s health and well being and also gain a deeper understanding of their non –verbal communication.  
Physically it stimulates all of the systems in the body and supports the immune system, helping to increase resistance to illness. It helps to develop spatial awareness, co-ordination, suppleness and alertness and can help with pain reduction and colic. As it aids relaxation it can also help your child to sleep much better. 

In a one to one or group workshop you can learn a massage routine that you and your child can benefit from right the way through their childhood. You can learn the benefits and how to massage them safely and confidently and this is not just limited to mother and baby!
